I've been down for two months. I've been kicked around the healthcare system like a soccer ball. Does anyone know a good doctor for Meniere's in Phoenix? I've never heard of this disease before.
Dr derebery is in the los angeles office. There is a house ear office in phoenix too i think. I personally like dr derebery.
Tammy, Unfortunately I'm not in Phoenix so I can't recommend anyone personally -- I used to live in LA and went to the House Ear Clinic (as others have suggested), but it's far and to be honest I think you can find someone as good where you are. I'm a big fan of the site Healthgrades for Yelp-style doctor reviews (and I think they're real but who knows -- LOL). These ones looked particularly good in your area: https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-michael-robb-2rgbf https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-timothy-haegen-3l5l5 This doctor is an ENT and not a Meniere's specialist per se, but has awesome reviews: https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-timothy-kelsch-xh86m Have you been to Valley ENT? It seems like a lot of their docs are among the top, and they might be able to refer you to someone who treats MM specifically. https://azvent.com/ Best of luck and wishing you lots of betterness Rob
I live in Phoenix. I highly recommend Dr. Michael Fucci. His office is on S. Dobson Rd. in Chandler. You may have to wait a few months to get in because he’s the best of the best, but the wait will be well worth it!! He will take great care of you and understands this condition.
I have the Gentamicin injections with him that work for a while and I ended up going to Frank Aoi for acupuncture which seems to work the best.
As I said the injections were working well and then suddenly they weren't. I had vertigo everyday for 7 weeks and was so frustrated. Then I read somewhere that someone had good luck with acupuncture so I decided to try it. I even researched it and found the PubMed page where they've done clinical trials and found that it's highly successful for Meniere's. Frank Aoi is in downtown Phoenix. I highly recommend him. It is expensive because I don't think insurance covers it but it's so worth it. I could only afford to go once a week when I started and I did that for 3 months and had great success.
