They are looking for people. http://www.trials.novartis.com/en/clinical-trials/hearing-restoration-clinical-trial/
James, Awesome post...thanks as always for positive stuff. It says this is Phase 3...I looked pretty hard for Phase 2 results?? They would obviously not go to a Phase 3 (final trial) without strong Phase 2 (proof it actually works) numbers. If anyone can dig up Phase 2 results or press release please send along...Thanks!!
not sure if it's the same with this https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02132130 However, there was no result posted and MM is excluded from eligibility.
I thought if someone can find a way to restore hearing such as this trial, it will helps us. However, since MM is excluded from the eligibility category, is that means that if this drug is a success then we can't benefit from it or it might be able to restore the hearing but not the other MM symptoms?
I read that they have to do surgery and use anesthesia to get the stuff to your inner ear. I hope that is not the only way. I would not trust them to do more than an injection thru my eardrum( I have done before).
