Just diagnosed

    I was just diagnosed with Meniere's disease and although it was a terrible life altering experience, I'm relieved. I have been experiencing headaches, dizziness, hearing loss in my right ear, nausea and don't forget the "poops a-lots" for over a year. The doctor's tried to help, but always sent me away with no answers making me feel like it was all in my head. Now it has a name!!! I can research it, alter my diet and basically understand what is actually happening to me when an episode occurs.

    I'm so thankful that I found this site and look forward to learning and growing in a positive manner in order to deal with these challenges. I don't feel alone any more.

    Hi Donna. Sorry you are suffering but glad you have found this resource. Do a lot of reading. Check out the MAV (migraine associated vertigo) posts as well. (You can do a search). I think you will find helpful advice here. Good luck!
