Hi Philosopher - I can't seem to find a way to say this without sounding snarky or negative - so please, I don't mean it that way. But my question is, what have these two doctors done for you, other than test and diagnose you with Meniere's. What have they done or prescribed to make your life better? Again, I mean this as a legitimate question, not a criticism.

 

They can stop your world from spinning, it's called a laby---- I love mine

 

When the oto told me to learn to live with it, I talked to my family dr, got partial relief, then I went to Dr Derebery at House. I have received almost total relief and no surgery. When a doctor tells you he can't help you, believe him and find a new one.

 

I know, but I would really like to know what these two doctors said to Philospher. I wish he would reply to this thread.

 

Ok Phil! Thank you. Faulty assumption of mine, I thought you had seen at least one of those docs. Also, I didn't know, or at least didn't remember that you don't have Meniere's, sorry. I am glad to hear it though. I do remember now that you went down to House in CA. What is your ailment then that brings you to this site?

 

I see. No hearing loss or vertigo then, I guess that is the good news. Have the doctors been able to do something to alleviate the problems you mention or have they subsided on their own?

As an aside, my tinnitus is high pitched and 99.5% constant but this morning, for about 3 minutes, it lowered in pitch quickly, then slowly went back to its usual pitch. It felt very weird.

I have seen both doctors Chen and Rutka and also Dr. Parnes in London. They are all good, but you need a referral from an ENT. At least one of these doctors travels to other parts of Ontario to see patients. Good luck.
