Superdrug £49.00 for 168 tablets - that's the Acyclovir rather than the Valacyclovir which is much more expensive. It's probably cheaper elsewhere on the internet though.

Don't we need a prescription though, most gps won't prescribe as it's not licensed for it

From my understanding but I may be wrong it is not licensed for MD but you can buy it non-prescription for cold sores etc. Could be wrong though - is there anybody else who knows for sure? On the website if you want it for genital herpes you may have to send a picture! but it didn't say that if the reason was for cold sores and it appears to be the same tablets.

    Okay interesting
I'm pretty sure my condition is caused by some kind of infection, viral, bacteria not sure which but when my symptoms get worse I always have that run down feeling as if a colds coming on, interesting also that I have suffered regular sinus pain for year's before this started and not sure if that was a result of a tooth abscess I had. Lots going on but to me my body feels like there's something dragging my immune system down, I've always kept myself fit martial arts, cycling gym etc so you get to know your body
