Hi all ! Hope You all doing good ! May You all get well soon from this disease ! I'm on Betahistine doze from several months(4-4(1/2)) and taking 16mg 2 times a day ! Should I keep my doze as it is ? Or Up(Increase) my doze to 16mg(3 times a day) ? Or 25mg(2 times a day ) ? And 6 months are enough for Betahistine ? Or shall I keep on taking BetaHistine for 8 Months or onward ? I'm feeling very small vertigos, not sharp vertigos, but daily ! And every hour I feel a small vertigo , I think betahistine has started work , because My vertigos were sharp upto my 3 and half month of betahistine doze ! Now a bit decreasing in vertigo frequencies I feel ! And how is the procedure of decreasing BetaHistine ? Like, 1 time a day (16mg) and then stop ?
Hi I am on a Betahistine dose of 16 mg 3 times a day. I had not had any vertigo since starting in 5 months ago. My doctor wanted to try reducing it to 2 times a day to see what my threshold was. After 4 days of only twice a day the vertigo came back. So back to 3 times a day - probably for the rest of my (miserable) life.
