Mindosa's point may prove harder to grasp due to her use of "sun-pampered", however her point hinges less so on vitamin D levels as absorbed from the sun, & more so on the comparison of countries with higher & lower vitamin D levels.

Of course, the reason why all countries, of which differ when concerning vitamin D levels, have been affected by this pandemic is because a) re' higher vitamin D levels, decrease, decreased, reduced risk, & reduction of risk are not synonymous to not affected, or can not be affected.

Moreover, b) to understand the COVID-19 pandemic, & the ability & degree to which the virus affects a country, or multiple countries, one requires a multivariate analysis.

Vitamin D & its levels form a required dimension, however it's by no means the only dimension. No epidemiologist worth their salt conducts a univariate analysis in an attempt to understand how, & the degree to which a country has been affected by a virus.

Many additional dimensions should be, or I would argue, must be considered, particularly when concerning the degree to which a country, or multiple countries, as opposed to an individual's body, have been impacted by said disease. Dimensions such as age of population, health of population (role of vitamin D included, however not limited to), heath care system, safety & distancing measures, response speed, public awareness & responsibility, et cetera.

Don't waste your time, he just doesn't want to understand that the probability that something works is not the same as that something works absolutely. I do not know how you will do with the rest of the medications you take throughout your life because none of them are 100% effective in clinical trials. Betahistine has about 63%, the VA according to the study where you look at it goes from 40 to 80%, destructive surgery has a success rate of 95%, etc. Covid vaccines from 88 to 95% as well.

If we were to depend on this user being convinced that something works through clinical trials today we would not even have ubiprofen for fever.

What I find curious about his attitude is that he opposes treatments that do have clinical data to collate and show signs, but at the same time he defends fasting to treat Meniere.
