True but I guess I should have said I am surprised you know of the Ronettes. But then again you do like good music ☺️
Truth be told I woke up with Del Shannon's Runaway (one of my father's favourite songs) in my head that morning. Though during the difficult process of rolling out of bed & crawling my way to my 'puter so to check work related emails & .org, Runaway somehow, someway, turned into Be My Baby *chuckles…strange how that works. I think it was the movie Dirty Dancing that first introduced me to The Ronettes. I bought the soundtrack shortly after having watched the movie, & then for the longest time all my friends teased me for it *laughs Friends - HAHAHA Nathan's listening to Time Of My Life! HAHAHA What a girl! Me - What?! It's good! How did Moonchild find you? Did it manage to float you through your workout funk, or did it miss the mark? If it missed the mark, I'm sure I have something here that will propel you through the dreaded workout funk. Excuse any grammatical errors, or typos, it's super early here & both my eyes & brain are still half asleep.
Moonchild (for me) is great for cool down. Very relaxing and certainly let's one flow through gentle stretching. For my hard core workouts (hee hee) I prefer Born to Run by The Boss and love your father's taste in music. I also am a big fan of Bruno Mars. All of the above keep me moving.
Did you just outhardcore Moonchild by unleashing The Boss? That's cold! … Love Springsteen. If I were to link the music I reach for during intense workouts, I would be banned from this forum pretty much instantly *laffs… It's a misguided, angsty & histrionic, Generation Y thing, I think.
He loves it. Perhaps too much *laughs… he would play it ad nauseam on the way to & from the beach. A six hour round trip. The Animals & the Tour Of Duty soundtrack. Over & over again. If the northerly, or north-westerly wind turned southerly (which is to say onshore winds, creating choppy conditions on the west coast of Vic) prior to catching at least a handful of waves, it would then be Paint It Black by The Stones all the way home, & a lot of honking *laughs… he never had much discretionary time. The only albums of mine that he could tolerate were Morning Glory by Oasis, & the X-Files soundtrack. He still loves Hey Now by Oasis, which is Autumninthefall’s favourite band *runs for cover
You rang, Nathan? I feel like Lurch from The Addams Family. What did I miss? I’ve just been caught beneath a landslide getting high...which is just a rearrangement of the Champagne Supernova lyrics that makes just as much sense as the actual lyrics! It’s like that haiku about haikus: Haikus are easy But sometimes they don’t make sense Refrigerator
Been listening to Elvis Gospel.....dude could sing it all. the Chief likes Journey on in the car as well as Bruce Springsteen lately.
I love to listen to Elvis' Gospel music as well as his greatest hits. Lately I have been playing the 60's station on Amazon when I exercise. And Chief and I agree on the Boss....Born to Run is one of my all-time favorites!
I concede nothin’! It’s all a hoax! We don’t even need to wear no mask, much less over our nose(Bama wisdom, hello?!). Lowest vaccine rate in the US, son, ‘cause we’re fine! *imagine obnoxious redneck twang I ain’t seein’ no wisdom, and I raise you Micky D’s!
