Don, I bet it’s 80 and blue skies down there on the Gulf Coast and golf balls everywhere. I often think about going to the St. Augustine, Naples or Sarasota area when the kids are out of the house..
Joe I can’t tell you how much these pictures made me smile. When we lived on Lake Winnipesaukee we use to spend hours on the lake ice fishing and snowmobiling! Traded it in for the flip flops! But would not change one thing life is good on the ice too! And remember boys on ice don’t get in hot water! I raised two so keep doing what you and chief are doing for your boys you will never regret it! God bless you all.
Why is the crossing of a Labrador Retriever & a Poodle referred to as a Labradoodle, & not a Labrapoodle? Mutatis mutandis Goldendoodle?
Hey Red, Amen....time flies. When the kids are off to school and out of the house I plan on joining you in a pair of flip flops down there at least 8 months a year. Nathan,I have no idea but all these doodles and poo breeds are just great because you don’t have to worry about the shedding. We have a little cockapoo (cocker spaniel and poodle mix) and love it.
Nathan my son just got a puppy it is a cross between a Wheaton terrier and a poodle and they call it a whoodle!! Cute little puppy.
I tell myself not to do so much of it, however I think I’m feeling defensive on the behalf of Labradoodles & Goldendoodles. Here in Australia "doodle" is predominately used as an epithet. If you were to randomly sample a thousand Australians & assert, for instance, 'in the evening I spend an hour training my Goldendoodle', or 'I play with my Goldendoodle in the backyard', 'my golden doodle is a handful, so damn boisterous', 'my goldendoodle', 'my goldendoodle wears a coat in the winter', or 'I'm taking care of my friends Goldendoodle for the weekend', most, if not all the Aussies would be like ‘I’m sorry, what?’.
What foods should one eat and or avoid ? I don't know how to get the suggestions for food with this blog. Can you help me ?
Welcome to the forum, Doug. I suggest you go the Living Room main page and start a new topic and ask your question there. At the top of the page, on the right, there is a green box you can click on to start a new topic. You'll probably get more replies doing it that way.
Doug, you can't see it from here. Go to the top of this page, just under the words meniere's talk, and click on Your Living Room. You should be able to see it from there, on the top right. I guess it's more of an aqua color.
