I have bought a few things from Kickstarter and Indiegogo. So far they have not lived up to the hype. We just got a couple of camp chairs that took about 18 months. Heavier than expected and not very comfortable. Other than that, they are great! LOL

I do think bone conduction should work. I tried a headset that was bone conduction quite a long time ago and it was close to working. Not for Menieres, just to hear better in a noisy environment.

You can be my Sentien guinea pig :)

I completely forgot about them. $850 seemed good when compared to thousands, but it's still a good chunk of change. Plus, I've heard from people who have expensive hearing aids who don't even use them because they don't help much. Not willing to take the chance.

I am trying on a hearing aid this month to decide whether to keep it or not. The model is similar to the one in this photo, but in my case it will cost $ 2,000 or $ 3,000. The difference is that I have a professional who has given me hearing tests and every four or five days I have an interview with him where I tell him how I have felt with the hearing aid so that he can modify parameters until it is perfect for me.

Of course, I am a rare case of Meniere from what my audiologist has told me, usually in the noise tolerance test the Menieres do not hold, which makes it difficult for them to use a hearing aid because it will create discomfort. It is not my case, I have a tolerance to noise equal to that of a normal person.

Anyway, that is now, when I completed my triad of symptoms, I had severe hyperacusis for almost a year, noise or certain sounds bothered me, etc.
