I’m remembering that I would become violently ill when riding roller coasters and “motion rides” in my late teens, where it hadn’t been an issue earlier in my life. Also, I’d get a touch of vertigo when working in enclosed areas while on my back. Makes me wonder if there are signs that you’ll develop Ménière’s down the line.
I had vertigo about twice a year for 8 years before I woke up one morning with deafening tinnitus. During the 8 years I would tell my primary care doctor about it, he always said "the next time it happens come in my office..." never happened during office hours of course. One of the last times it happened before I was diagnosed I called an ambulance thinking if I could get to an ER they would figure it out but after they arrived I decided not to go. Would not have mattered anyway. This shit won't go away.
