Hi, I'm Marc, a long time reader and contributor to this great forum. I've been battling Meniere's since 2007 and after tinkering with a multitude of treatments, finally opted for Gentamicin which I detailed in this thread which was placed in the database: Gentamicin: A Complete Experience The endless search for relief from Meniere's inspired me to build a site that would allow the crowdsourcing of natural remedies for any condition. Everyone has tried something and has a different experience to share, and when you take thousands of these experiences and start crunching the numbers, trends begin to appear. I invite you to try it out. Please consider letting us know what you have tried and whether it was helpful or not. There is strength in numbers! Here is a link directly to the Meniere's page: What helps Meniere’s Disease - user-ranked natural remedies thank you, marc
I certainly never called Gentamicin a "natural" treatment. After dealing with drop-attacks for a year, I finally was forced to do something destructive. I tried everything I could, shunt surgery, antivirals, antifungals, NUCCA, as well as the recommended natural route (John of Ohio, etc), but because of the severity of my symptoms, I was forced to go more extreme. I do not suggest newly diagnosed patients go anywhere near a destructive treatment. Try everything you can. Everybody reacts differently.
My apology if anyone read my post assuming that Gentamicin is in any way a "Natural remedy". I tried everything you can imagine and nothing worked so I was forced to go the destructive route. My project only deals with natural remedies. There are many things to try for Meniere's and some may help. That is the idea. marc
I have had a labyrinthectomy, which is destructive and it was the best treatment for me. OP seems like he is trying to help. If you actually clicked on his link you would see that all of the options are non destructive. Not really cool to call someone out like that.
