Are there some medications that worsen menieres or trigger it? I can't find a list anywhere but my brain for is so bad right now. Hope everyone had a nice holiday.
Hello Star, in Germany Ibuprofen sometimes is not recommended for Menière's patients. But I had never problems with it. Au contraire, in phases I had to take quite lot of this painkiller and antiinflammatory I had no vertigo. I can't take medicine against heartburn. At least that's what I think. Twice I had a severe attacks after taking medicaments against heartburn. It also could be that I had heartburn because of some trouble with my mineral levels leading to an attack. As I am diabetic, of course I have to take care of a stable blood sugar and not too much insuline. Hope you feel better by now.
Thanks Lilja. I was taking a medicine for colitis. Entocort. It triggered my menieres. I don't understand why. It's a steroid that releases in your intestine so go figure how that works out.
