I've had Meniere's for over 20 years, lost all hearing in right and 10% in left. Still occasionally have issues with fullness and ringing in ears. Now started having issues with dry mouth and eyes, occasional swelling of parotid glands. They are both autoimmune diseases I believe. Is there an connection between them, along with hypothyroidism?
I also have hypothyroidism and take medication for it, along with meds for Meniere's. Currently in process of testing for Sjogrens.
My wife (who has MD) and I are very interested in this connection to the possible effects of Herpesvirus on her MD. What does one do to stop the effects of Herpesvirus on Meniere's Disease ?
