You will get there Luis. Walk when you can and lots of rest. Your brain will adjust to the surgery. You are heading in the right direction!
Walk walk walk……in three weeks you will be living a perfectly normal life. The brain is amazing and will adapt. Just give it time. push yourself just not over the edge if you know what I mean. Your swelling in your ear will go away and you will notice your energy come back and all the fatigue will be a thing of the past. right on schedule Keep it up Joe
Best wishes for your full recovery also from me. Hope you notice already it's getting better and better. You experience the birth blows of your new wonderful life.
Day 4- Already at home! Came out of the hospital! The way between hospital and home, by car, was not easy. I still feel very dizzy when standing up but lying down I can bear it. Little improvement since yesterday
Day 5- Feel a little improvement since yesterday. I do my normal life at home all alone. Very slow, doing "my things" , but i do alone. . . I notice that I have more difficulty focusing my vision at a distance of 3..4 meters. If I look out the window, I find it difficult to focus the image in the distance
O forgot to tell...my tinnitus curiously it's very low...almost disappeared! At a level from 1 to 10 before the surgery was at 3 now it is at a level 1!
Right on schedule…..walk walk walk while turning your head side to side up and down. I predict in 3 weeks you will disappear because life will be normal and mm will forever gone. joe/bulldogs
Hahahahah... i will not disappear Joe! I hope that my recovery will be 100% but i will not disappear from this forum. I will always be arround... i what to help another persona like you and others of this forum did with me! I have this "obligation" with all of you!
Day 6- I walked home about 45 min. With a lack of balance it's true, but I managed to lift my morale a little! I fell a little of pressure in my ear when I move the bandage or when I am eating. I noticed a small improvement when I try to focus on things further away
Day 7- I notice that when I wake up my eyes have more difficulty focusing. Today I walked 30 minutes on the street. I felt a lot of difficulties and it's much more difficult to balance on the street than at home (the truth is that my street is a little rented which makes it very difficult). In addition to these 30 minutes, I also walked at home for 30 minutes. I walked 60 minutes all day. At home I walk barefoot on the advice of the doctor
Day 9 - Today I walked 35 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon. It was quite tiring because I lacked balance but I did it! Day 10 - Today I felt better when I woke up! I felt that I improved in terms of balance. I walked in the afternoon for 1 hour and although I had some imbalance I felt much better! Went to the doctor to get the staples out of the scar.
Right on schedule…..in another week you will feel pretty much normal and it only gets better from there. congrats Joe
Day 11 - Today I walked down the street alone for the first time! I walked about 1.5 km in about 35 min. When I'm lying down I almost feel "normal". I think i'm a little better in terms of balance compared to yesterday.
