    Hi All

Long time manieres sufferer, 6 years now, had a good period when this damn low pitch tinnitus disappeared. But then cracked a vertebrae and my back has been messed for a year.

Started taking creatine to strengthen my back muscles and aid in repair. But feels like my ear is full again. Also under massive stress as moving. So who knows what is causing this.

I know creatine increases water in cells.

My back is feeling better but my ear is going the other way.

    Any experiences or suggestion ?

I quit taking creatine because it seemed to be making my symptoms worse. Had the same thought, since it increases water content, it may be contributing to the condition issues in the inner ear.

While taking creatine try diuretics or dandelion tea and drink plenty of water.

Regarding stress, there are studies that indicate that it can aggravate and cause Meniere's attacks, in fact there are a couple of clinical cases in which several patients stopped their vertigo attacks by taking sertraline (an antidepressant) because this medication reduces the stress hormone (which I think is cortisol).
