Just checking in on y’all. Been a while since I posted, but have been lurking. Hope everyone is having a good day!
Every day that is vertigo free is a good day. After you beat the Beast you tend not to post much but like you I check in often.
Yesterday was tough but today is today. I expect good things. Thanks for asking. Without the vertigo the other symptoms are exhausting but burnout has lessened the anxiety so very much.
That’s my story too. Laby in 2018 and vertigo-free since, but that is hardly the end of the story. It’s complicated, yeah?
I thank the good Lord for the health to keep working (in my 50’s). Having lost most of my hearing I don’t care to socialise but that’s ok. My wife and two cats are company enough. thanks for asking and I hope that you are well my friend. never, never, never give up - Winston Churchill
Struggling a bit, anxiety and depression getting me, after recent resurgence of vertigo, and 2 more gentamicin shots. Trying to focus on the good things. I’ll get there, one foot in front of the other.
Man you got that right! Gotta appreciate our symptom-free days. In retrospect, I look back on how I took feeling good totally for granted before I ever heard of menieres. Not anymore.
Better than I deserve- been stringing a bunch of good days together and still upright. Stay positive friends, far too easy to let the devil takeover if you’re not careful
Doing Great Kevin....Just enjoying the summer and doing a little bit of wakeboarding and watching the kids learn how to surf. its still the one thing dad can do better than them.
I suffered with the beast for 12 years! Ten years ago this October I fought the beast and won! I thank God for this website and the courage to slay the beast. Almost 10 years vertigo free. Life is good!
Thank you Kevin. I have been having many good days here lately. Had a couple of mild spells July 2nd and one the next day. But all three times I got in bed and got comfortable and they didn't last long. I was mostly nauseated. I haven't been on here near as much as I was a year ago. Things have been better. Have a good one!
