yes...maybe you're right. I don't feel any nausea or dizziness. What I still feel is that when I look to the left (side that was operated ) the eyes do not follow the speed of rotation of the head

You are undoing ~30 years of brain learning (unsure of your exact age!) - it will take some time! Keep doing the exercises for your vision as well as walking etc. I am only very early in the menieres journey but hearing about peoples experiences gives me some hope.

    Hi Marta!
I confess that I was expecting to be at 100% but to tell the truth I don't feel that. I don't feel dizzy or dizzy but when I walk I feel that my balance is not the same...maybe it's my body adapting...I don't know. There are days when I'm better and others worse. When I turn my head to the side of the ear that I had the surgery on, I feel a kind of image drag. I've already talked to the ENT but he doesn't have an answer. I made balance tests and everything was fine.

Luis, I am glad you don’t feel dizzy and I take it for granted there is no vertigo which is what we all are looking for.
Have you done a physio therapy? It helped me a lot a few years ago.

I would still recommend it. It does not hurt apart from the fact that it’s boring and repetitive. I hope you feel 100% in no time . All the best

    Best wishes, Luis.
I' m absolutely with Marta, I also would recommend physio.
I am not sure if it is allowed to post a link here? There is a German brochure to download.
But I'm sure you will also find something on YouTube.
It is not easy to find a specialized physiotherapist, but if you can, try to find one.
Mine had started with me like after a stroke in "babysteps", she helped me very much.
It is a lot about retraining your brain.
    As I said, best wishes!

Hi Marta! I confess that I expected it to be 100% at this point but I don't feel 100%. When I turn my head to the side that had the surgery, the image still drags... I also continue to have days when I feel a little dizzy... with an aura. The positive side is that compared to the time before the surgery, I'm better, that's true. Even the days that I have the aura compared to before are shorter and the recovery is much faster. I'm hopeful that it's still my body that compensates and I can be at 100%. I've been on a plane and it's been fine. If it were today, I would do the surgery again, that's true

    I did 1 moth after
I did 1 month after the surgery (5 optokinetic sessions). Then I did some balance tests and the doctor said they were fine and say that I didn't need more...

Perhaps it’s worth continuing with the sessions.
The main thing you are vertigo free which makes you a winter!

    Hi Luis,
I just read your experience with the laby - thanks for recording it! It may be in my future.

I have similar on-going balance and eye stability issues, from the Meniere's and my gentamicin injections.

I recorded a bunch of Vestibular Physiotherapy exercises in my discussion titled - "Vestibular Rehab". Hope that helps, and maybe saves you a few $$$!
Although it was still worthwhile for me to actually see the physio, as he was able to give me some encouragement and observations specific to me.

Hi Luis, I just found my old posts outlining the Vestibular physiotherapy exercises and bumped them up to the top of this forum. My posts in that thread are around July and September of 2019. For you & Marta
