Hello Does anyone experience dizziness after using L-Lysine? Should the dose be increased gradually? I got dizzy after taking L-lysine and I'm afraid to take it again. I regained my courage and if I need to take it again, how do you think we should start?
Also, I have never used antiherpetic drugs before, I have a doctor to prescribe this drug for, will it be effective if I add valacyclovir instead of l-lysine and follow the JOH diet?
I'm not familiar with lysine causing dizziness. But when it does, try taking smaller doses, backing down to a dose level that causes no discomfort. Then, after a period of accommodation (several weeks?) slowly increase the doses and see if they no longer are problematic. --John of Ohio
Hi, I just recently starting taking the JOH vitamins. I have not experienced dizziness with lysine. I currently take 1000 mg 3x/day. I have experienced improvement in heavy muscles in legs and arms.

Thank you so much for the information John. After balance tests and calorie test, I was diagnosed with meniere in my left ear, which has good hearing. Five steroid injections didn't help either. I have dizziness and sometimes balance problems during the day. As far as I can remember, the right ear cannot hear. If my deaf right ear had protruded into the meniere, I could have had a labyrinthectomy. But it is unfortunate that it came out of my left ear with good hearing, so I have to rule out the option of surgery from the beginning and I will follow your diet. I'll also take antiherpetics if needed.
Week 1 with 2 x 500mg I will increase the router by 500mg each week, if there is no dizziness it will continue with 3000mg. I had already taken other vitamins, I looked at them. In case of a sudden attack, I take Vertigoheel tablets. He sent a girlfriend from Germany.
