Mine have been worse in the summer. I think thats because one of the triggeres was allergies.

Understand that vitamin D levels decline significantly in winter in the northern latitudes of the world. Vitamin D is photosynthesized in sun-exposed skin, so in winter, with the sun low elevations in the sky, for short mid-day intervals, with people wearing sun-obscuring clothes, and staying indoors, the decline in serum vitamin D levels in winter occurs. For Meniere's, when caused by a herpes virus infection in the inner ear (the case in approximately 85% of cases, or more), the deficiency of vitamin D in winter weakens the immune system's ability to suppress viral activity. To counter this deficiency, take at least 5000IU of vitamin D-3 each day. 400mg of magnesium is also recommended, as magnesium is a vitamin D co-factor.
