Hello, I just joined this forum primarily because I experience vertigo. I have been looking for a support group like this for quite some time. Some forums have a “new members” section. I read where the “Your Living Room” area seems to be very welcoming… sort of a “come on in” and “the water’s fine” attitude... ...so, I guess I will figuratively just jump on in… But before I make a first post regarding my symptoms and experiences over the decades, I have a question: do I keep one (1) primary thread going… and then add to it as other members respond? Or is it preferable to have more than one thread regarding different issues and possible causes? Respectfully, -dean.
I find that different threads are helpful as far as searches go—just my opinion, though. “Welcome” seems kind of inept as no one in their right mind wants to be here, but happy to help if I can. Kevin
Hi, my experience is you don’t always get a response. Since it appears that many doctors don’t have answers, a true diagnosis, or a solution, I have come here in hopes of sharing my experiences, that I could get answers. I want to know if my episodes and attacks are what others are experiencing. I have gone into detail and no one comments. I have read other post, but their no specifics: like what others attacks or episodes are like. I hope you find help. The JOH regimen seems to be helping me and some other things that stumbled on.and, it’s nice to have a place to go. Also, wry sad that others have problems. My heart goes out to them. And, happy when there are success stories! Best wishes!!
Welcome to the club no one wants to belong to! It can take awhile, and a few different ENTs and testing before you finally get answers, and hopefully, solutions. Can I ask where you’re from? Maybe someone here knows who the good doctors are in your area.
