Hello again, just a quick question for everybody. After 8 days of panic attacks, A-Fib issues along with an average blood pressure of 165 over 96, I show up to the ER this morning because I feel like I am going to pass out and my blood pressure was 130 over 80!!! Has anybody else experienced this much fight or flight occurrences only to have an ER nurse look at you like you are an idiot? The doctor told me multiple times.... " you don't have Meniere's Disease because you don't have all of the symptoms!" Get this, the doctor prescribes me with a blood pressure medication and when I get to the pharmacy the Pharmacist tells me it causes dizziness... I'm laughing my ass off. After SERC, a steroid nasal spray and a Naturopath visit I am going with the JOH route. I suspect I have labryintitis instead of Meniere's and was wondering if the JOH works for that as well? The reason why I suspect that is because of ongoing inflammation in my Eustachian tubes. The brain fog is still present along with the tinnitus but no vertigo. I am also laughing my a$& off after getting an ENT referral for August of 2024!... that's over a year to wait to see if the ENT has any clue about this disease. Sorry!! Just venting!

Ah, yes, free health care for all, if you live long enough. But don't worry, we are first in MAID - Medical Assistance In Dying.

It doesn't really matter about the doctors Jonn, they do not have any real help for this disease. I have given you some suggestions, I don't know if you tried them or if they helped. It takes some patience.

    Hi Jonn,
first, it would bei great If you have no MD!
Still IT IS NOT "just panic".
Of course your symptoms have to be taken serious by medical staff.
Of course in the middle of a panic attack your blood pressure is higher then before or afterwards.
Your health system sounds horrible and seems to be a big part of your problem. Here in Germany we also have to wait for a specialist's appointment.
But not in an acute situation. You have to get the doctors for diagnoses of exclusion when you show up in an ER.
First thing they always did with me was an exclusion of a stroke. After that the ENT examinations. When you have Menière Vertigo, you can see your eyes moving rapidly to the damaged ear. Then treatment and further consultation examinations, e.g. a neurologist.
In your place I would not take Valium for possible paradox reactions.
I got Amitriptylin off label use for my back pain. It is an antidepressant, working well against anxiety and sleeping issues. I would say it helped also with my MD.
    Best wishes!!!
