@KathyH - My hearing is nearly gone in my left ear, but the tinnitus rages on. Most of the time it's a steady hum, but a few days ago it ramped up, & I had a hard time sleeping because it was so loud. Now it's back to its usual tone & volume. Don't know what I did differently that caused the ramp up or helped it to calm down. Kind of frustrating not knowing! Usually I get vertigo after a tinnitus ramp up but this time I didn't. WHEW!! And thank you, God!!
