So I have not had a vertigo attack for three years now. I get dizzy sometimes but, and I thank the regime I have been on for this, no vertigo. I looked into getting my pilot licence back but once you have been diagnosed with meniers you cannot pass your necessary bi-yearly medical. That's understandable but, it still hurts. So last week i took my 7 year old grand daughter to a local fair. It had rides. It had one monster ride called the Zipper. It spun around, it turned you upside down and then just when you think the nightmare is over, it goes the other way. You couldn't pay me to go on that thing...right? But I haven't had an attack in three whole years!!! What a great test of my regime!! My grand daughter had already been on the thing 6 or 7 times... how bad could it be? So to the utter surprise of my wife and to the joy of my grand daughter "Baboo" said he would go with her. Long story short... half way through, when it paused, I was trying to put my finger through the mesh to get my wife's attention and ask her to tell the man to get me off. No luck and off it went again. My wife said she could hear me over all the other screams cursing my head off. And here I have been lecturing my son on how he should not be cursing in front of his daughter. When it stopped I staggered off the thing and starting feeling better in a couple of hours but... NO vertigo!! Ha!! Didn't even throw up. All that said, you, with out a doubt, could not pay me to ever get back on it. My grand daughter went on it a total of 12 times.
