Eye sight problems

    Anyone suffer? Is it linked?

    ive noticed lately bit blurry and a few floaters?

    maybe naturel decline?

    I have no idea, but my major onset of symptoms came on August 1st 2022 and then in October my eyesight changed dramatically. I now where glasses full time.

    I used to wear glasses sporadically when my eyes were tired, but not I can't read easily without them. My optometrist believes there's a link with having Covid, but I haven't given it too much thought as the current state of my eyesight is the least of my worries. LOL

    I can tell you anecdotally that oral prednisone accelerates cataract development. Had my first cataract surgery just prior to 50th birthday. Had several courses or oral prednisone over the years to combat MD.

    I have both macular degeneration and glaucoma. Just age and bad genes imo. I smoked for many years. It is a known risk with AMD. I have wondered anout the hearing.
