Just checking in to say it's been four years with no vertigo. Valacyclovir was the magic ticket that cleared up all my MD symptoms, except for some lingering tinnitus. I'm urging anyone who is struggling to at least try antivirals. And yes, I continue to take 3 1000 mg tablets of valacyclovir per day. You can read all about my struggles and success at this link. @Pa Cowboy. That's great, and THANK YOU for sticking around to help others even though you've had great success. I'm 7 months on antivirals (2x500mg Famvir daily) and I can't say that I've experienced a change that I can attribute to them.
