Has anyone read/heard any details on Spiral Therapeutics's SPT-2101 trial? They seem to have started phase 2 trials in early 2023 with a sustained-release steroid formulation for the treatment of MD. From what I've read, Spiral took over defunkt Otonomy's assets and research data on the subject and seems to be making good progress. This is the first I’ve heard of it. It’s interesting that it’s targeted steroid release to the inner ear, which makes a lot of sense considering that steroids help a lot of Meniere’s patients. The problem is, steroids aren’t viable long term, but this could change that.
I sent them a message in regards to trials here in the U.S.. It's nice to see more potential treatments in process

I just read the composition of the medicine. It's regular dexamethasone. Maybe I don't understand something, but many ENT doctors administer dexamethasone injections into the inner ear.
