Why wouldn't large doses of cocoa be an even better vasodilator?

Title says it. The claim in the JOH regimen says bioflavanoids help dilate blood vessels in the ear. Ever taken like two tablespoons of cocoa in boiling water (no sugar)? You can feel your blood pressure drop a bit. Numerous sources cite theobromine and cocoa solids in general as a vasoldilator.

I know there is some caffeine, but apparently it's outweighed by the dilating effect?

    Where am I wrong here?

Have you tried this idea on a regular basis? If so, has it helped with any particular MD symptoms?

I'm not even sure if I have Meniere's. I have had 3 attacks of dizziness no nausea past 2 years, and finally most recently added mild tinnitus. But ECOG measured fine 2 months ago, so no hydrops?

More recently I was taking echinacea on the viral theory of Meniere's, and took too much and had heart palpitations, and symptoms that lasted for like 10 days, so I'm only very slowly reintroducing myself to stimulants, such as cocoa

I don't even understand about caffeine and salt and menieres - are these diet changes supposed to help with symptoms? Or just prevent attacks? Honestly since my second attack, I've found stimulants HELP, because it's my nervous system/brain that's cluked up. Tiredness is what brings back my symptoms. Sleeping less, or anything else that drains my nervous system

So I haven't had a chance to try it

To be effective, to remove excess fluids in the inner ear that cause the sensations of fullness (and contribute to tinnitus), dilation of capillaries, alone, is not usually successful. The excess fluids must be defused or transported across the capillary walls, to then be carried away by blood circulating in these tiny blood vessels; which the lemon bioflavonoid accomplished. I find no information that cocoa can facilitate this transport across the capillary wall.

Large doses of cocoa with water will pretty sure cause obstipation.
    I would not try it.
In my case also because of the histamines which play a nasty role with migraine, too.
You can't eat loads of...to get the healing effects.
E.g. bromelaine - you would have to eat 20 pineapples to get a medical effect, as my ENT doctor said.
First thing I would try to get my body healthy is to quit smoking (you do, right?).
What you call stimulants is often poison.

    Best wishes
