I just began using it in mid may. Only 48 mg total! (3 doses of 16 mg.) I have seen no noticeable decrease in tinnitus and pulsatile tinnitus--I am also on Nortriptyline 30 mg, at HS, which i feel is controlling the vertigo. I have only have one sort of bad one and a lot of "near misses" as I call them where it feels like one COULD happen. I think I will renew this betahistine but perhaps an increase? If doc won't I see no reason to take it. I am in the US and it was 172.00 for 30 days. Yikes.

Hi all I was also prescribe betahistine about 4 mths ago and it seemed to be working - no more vertigo - But I stopped taking it 2 weeks ago and had the worst vertigo attack I've ever had - so now I am taking it again - religiously - yep I know I'm an idiot for stopping - won't try that again - god I hate this bloody disease/virus
