I have no reports or information that carnosine can suppress herpes virus activity. The damage is caused, in most cases, by an active population, infection of herpes viruses in the inner. Thank you. Like I said, when I'm tired it's just what the doctor ordered. My entire issue it turns out may have been ENTIRELY hypothyroidism, if not just largely that. Turns out hypothyroidism can cause vestibular issues that actually source at fluid imbalances in the inner ear and blood flow issues, so they show up in tests as regular vestibular issues. Levothyroxine giving me insomnia, so I'm a little tired so I'm taking one MSM now
Right. But the direct cause of the issues are the nerve inflammation CAUSED by the virus attacking. Dr. Gaceks mentioned something about an excess of nucleic acids being in the nerve causing inflammation. The idea here would be to alleviate the nerve issues, not attack the virus, much like any of your suggested supplements like ginkgo or MSM or vinpocetine Anyway, like I mentioned, it's also just a speedy supplement - like coffee but without causing more dizziness. That speediness helped me when I was having issues.
Thanks for the Vitamin D, magnesium and vitamin K recommendations. I just got my results from the D and B12 blood tests: Vitamin D: 35 (considered in the normal range but still on the low side) Vitamin B12: 335 ( considered in the normal range but may still cause some issues). I'm going to see what my doctor says, but I'm definitely going to up my D intake.
Yes, adequate vitamin D is 50 ng/ml. To get that, virtually everyone needs to take a minimum 5000IU each day. If you are taking that much already, and your test shows 35 ng/ml, at a different time of day take an additional 2000IU. Works better to spread vitamin D dosages across the day; not just in one big slug. I take 9000IU. 2000IU in my multivitamin. Then, separately, a 2000IU softgel. And finally, a 5000IU softgel. Yeah, I got the same issue as this other guy. I used to be deficient, started supplementing, now in the normal range but on the lower end When I Google it, it says it can be risky to take more than 4000IU Vitamin D daily - says that too much calcium can accrue in bones or be in blood or something. Are we sure taking 5000+IU is safe?
Yep, most of the legacy medical community regards 4000IU as the safe, upper limit of daily vitamin D. But, no practicing physician has ever found elevated calcium anomalies in people taking 5000IU of vitamin D. Understand, to be in your bathing suit, or in small skin-covering summer clothes, to spend a day in the summer sun will cause the body the generate, photosynthesize 10,000IU of vitamin D. How come conventional physicians never tell you to stay out of the sun for lengthy periods, so as not to overload on vitamin-d generated or absorbed calcium? Thank you, young man. Without even watching the video yet, I buy it. Usually there isn't too much issue with taking extra vitamins long term. Though doctors DO say not to stay in the sun too long - but yeah they usually only cite sunburns and cancer risk and not calcium levels
Started Lysine on Thursday with 3,000 mg as suggested. Friday I took 2,000 and shortly after the second dose ended up with a bad migraine with aura. Haven’t had one since September 9th. Coincidence? Could it cause that type of side effect?
I've never encountered or heard of this from lysine. You may want to incrementally ease into the taking of the lysine, starting with, say, 500mg, then slowly increasing the dosages over a two or three week period. --John of Ohio
Good morning @John of Ohio first things first ive done this regieme in some form for 2 years or so and had zero attacks was having about 3-4 a week that would make me ill and housebond so thank you so much first of all for giving me my life back. last few weeks to a month been having attacks again but not as bad as they was so ive just got a few questions if thats ok? Thank you 1, i wasnt taking the lysine correctly i was having my breakfast too soon after the dose or having my evening dose too soon after my meal. So ive changed that around now and gone in on 4g a day split 3 times. I have noticed i am feeling worse again but i did last time i started would this to be expected as im basically “ restarting” the fight against it 2, i still have lemon bionfolds ( speling) are they ok to take untill run out or would you just not use 3. stopped taking vincoptine ( spelling) for most of this period and have now started again as my tinitus is getting louder but it seems even louder since these last few attacks and “‘restarting” the fight against the virus 4 i have orderd some anti virals in my desperation ( yet to arrive yet) would you try this regieme first again before starting them or can both be used? 5 hearing is probably too far gone as ive seen you mention for any repair but i hope ear fullness and tinitus is possible what are your thoughts? 6. have a general dizzy feeling and have been having 1-2 mild attacks every one or two days before “ restartin” the regieme and its similar now im back started this seems and as i recall from last time normal virus behaviour and hopefully can be supressed again 7. my regeime will be Lysine Lemon bionfold Vincoptine D3 and k2 on order i have Ginko balboa is this sufficent? thank you again

I am taking anti sickness and xanax tablets to get through this part as its kicking me daily but im staying strong because i know this happend last time tinnitus going crazy but hope and pray it helps like it did first time
Is it normal for tinnitus to get worse as you start the regeime (again) mine is always bad when im having alot of attacks in short space of time i can certinley feel the virus fighting back atm its hitting me hard im just gonna ignore it and keep to the regieme and hope for the best just took stock of some anti virals but im thinking should i give this regime a go first or i wont no what is working and what isnt? Been well for about a week since restarting the regieme tinitus subsiding but just had one of the worst drop attacks ive ever had felt like i got hit with a cricket bat trying to stay postive still seems to be working in the main this sound like what can happen @John of Ohio thanks
Can't speak to the sugar fizzy drinks but I have experienced trouble with even decaf, sadly. I was having issues when I was drinking decaf Nespresso pods. I did however find a great Swiss Water Process (99.5% caffeine free) decaf by Kicking Horse that's yummy. It's been hard to not drink coffee. I love everything about coffee, lol. I have been substituting with decaf chai, ginger drink from trader joes, and Aojiru which is like matcha. Take care!
