I was diagnose with manières about 25 years ago, i barely remember when i first got it, it has been a long time since i had any symptoms and then all of a sudden it came back full force, the tinnitus is horrible, what do you guys suggest to do?
It has been shown that the amino taurine lowers tinnitus. It is a otc oral medication. You may also try Fatty acid supplement such as Flax seed oil and Krill oil. For fatty acids to work do not take with food. They bind to fiber and pass through.
This is my personal experience: when I get the ear fullness, deafness and tinnitus, I stop eating all salty and sugary foods for a week to two weeks. I increase water intake a bit and increase my potassium intake a bit ( I might eat a plain baked potato or a banana once or twice a day). I keep my sodium intake below 500mg just for a couple of weeks. This usually clears up my tinnitus and ear stuffiness within a week. I tend to try to keep my sodium below 1000mg in my daily life and have personally felt better. I do suffer setbacks around holidays and special events because I fail to leave the salty and sugary foods alone when everyone else around me is eating yummy food. I hope you start feeling better soon. Edit.... I should add that I do not partake in alcohol or caffeine at any time. And I use cows milk sparingly.
Add to that Spermidine. Long story. For now include wheat germ in ypur diet. I don't usually send medical research links. Because few people can understand the jargon. But if you want I can send links to research papers that will support anything I suggest.
