I have grown up with ear problems and over the years progressed from ear infections, tinnitus, Menieres, Cholesteatoma & BPPV.

Its been a long road and a difficult one. I am so grateful to find you guys!! people that actually understand how it is to live menieres and how it effects us mentally and emotionally!

Hi nice to meet you. I hope so because some days I find it really difficult. It just seems like an never ending story.

    Hi Nicola,
I'm new also. I have dealt with vertigo, Labrinthtitis and finally diagnosed with MD.
I was doing pretty well going to the doctor and someone to finally listen to me and my symptoms, but lately I'm damn dizzy again . Along with the pulsing and ringing in my ears. Oh and a new
symptom is fatigue. I'm over it. I just turned 62 yesterday and I feel lost and alone. It's very isolating .
    Best of luck to you!
I hope you can manage well enough to enjoy life. :)

Hi Rose. I hope your feeling a bit better. I know what its like to have pulsatile tinnitus. Its not a nice at all! it feels like ears are going to explode lol I used to get it all the time because of ear infections, sometimes I get it bending over or lying in bed. It does go eventually, its just horrible! My tinnitus is constant, it has been since I was small, but it varies in sound and pitch. Someday days its louder than others or its gone really quiet and thats when Im distracted mainly and that can last for days with out me realising it. On the whole it does not bother me as I have grown up with it, I guess its part of me now, the balance, BPPV amongst everything else is more of an issue lol You are right it is very Isolating and lonely even when you have family and friends around you. The problem is they do not " get it" which is understandable as they do not suffer with it.

I shed a tear of two, which i think we all do at times!

I am here if you need to talk about anything!
Thank you replying yo my post, Menieres warriors should stick together!!

    xxx
