I look back and can't believe how long it's been since rejoining. I think I go back as far as 2008. I'm 62 now and I have terminal prostate cancer (stage4). As bad as that sounds, Meniere's disease is worse for now. I remember all of the old timers like it was yesterday. I met some great people here who I spent time with in person. The cancer treatment has taken this disease to a whole new level that could cripple me. l'm still in Miami and still married nearly 40yrs. I have given up on trying to deal with Meniers's. I am up to 2mg of Klonopin a day and it's nothing compared to chemo and hormone treatment in terms of what it could do to me. At this point, I'm just kicking the can down the road and suffering. I may hang around this time around. Happy Sunday to everyone. (dolfan)

Hi Dolfan! Yep, still here. Very sorry to hear the miserable situation you find yourself in.

That's one of the problems with this disease, it layers itself on top of or barely underneath all the other bad things we have to contend with. Anyway, thank you for dropping in and saying hi and my best wishes for you going forward.

Dolfan really sorry that on top of Meniere's you are battling another significant crisis. Most important - you are keeping up the fight. You got this. One thing is for sure - you are a fighter!
