I know what that "still moving" feeling is.
You might try upping the valacyclovir dosage for 6 months.

I just want to echo what others have said, it takes months for antivirals to work and for hearing to return. My vertigo episodes were reduced in severity and duration after being on antivirals for 2 months. After that I have had zero vertigo for 18 months now. Occasional mild ear fullness but no other symptoms. Hearing is almost back to normal, about 10-15% loss in affected ear compared to 60% at onset.

Jonny...it took 6 months for my vertigo to disappear but each episode had a bit less problems than the last one.
    Patience!

I went two months with one every day or every other day while starting Valacyclovir and JOH. It’s like it was fighting hard. Then had a break through and have not had one since. It was a tough two months.

Stick with the program, you are on the road to success. Many times the disease fights back in the manner you described.
The severity of the attacks has lessened and that is exactly what happened with me.
