2 years ago today I walked out of Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary with a new outlook on life. The laby gave me my life back. Today there isn't anything stopping me from living the life I choose to live. Prior to the laby I would not have been able to make this statement. I will always be thankful for the members I met on this board (especially BD) who encouraged me and helped me make my decision. I truly believe when all else fails the laby is the way out of the hell so many of us have and those who continue to live in. Life is good. Peace!
Red, That's what we are here for. Enjoy the beach and your 16 mile bike rides with hubby, kids and grand kids. I am thankful to Lisa, Sid and my friend Larry/Hurricaneone as well as Chrisk, Piggy and AkJim who told me there is a way out of this hell. Sid has no balance function in either ear and he walks/competes in 5k and 10k races. I would get another laby if it came to it. Living in fear of vertigo is not worth it.
