Always stay humble and kind I heard a song and this was the refrain. I don't know who sings and and not googling tonight. This is one of the most inspirational, touching, REAL song I've heard in awhile. I hope you guys google it and listen to the words and the tempo. I really got into it.
Humble and Kind Tim McGraw You know there's a light that glows by the front door Don't forget the key's under the mat Childhood stars shine, always stay humble and kind Go to church 'cause your momma says to Visit grandpa every chance that you can It won't be wasted time Always stay humble and kind Hold the door, say please, say thank you Don't steal, don't cheat, and don't lie I know you got mountains to climb but Always stay humble and kind When the dreams you're dreamin' come to you When the work you put in is realized Let yourself feel the pride but Always stay humble and kind Don't expect a free ride from no one Don't hold a grudge or a chip and here's why Bitterness keeps you from flyin' Always stay humble and kind Know the difference between sleeping with someone And sleeping with someone you love "I love you" ain't no pick up line so Always stay humble and kind Hold the door, say please, say thank you Don't steal, don't cheat, and don't lie I know you got mountains to climb but Always stay humble and kind When those dreams you're dreamin' come to you When the work you put in is realized Let yourself feel the pride but Always stay humble and kind When it's hot, eat a root beer popsicle Shut off the AC and roll the windows down Let that summer sun shine Always stay humble and kind Don't take for granted the love this life gives you When you get where you're goin Don't forget turn back around And help the next one in line Always stay humble and kind
sitting poolside at Hawks Cay Resort with a Pina Colada in my hand and nothing to say, so i guess i will log off and catch everybody next month sometime. Phins UP!!!!!!
Just catching up on last night's highlights and saw a few double baggers and even a triple/3 bagger. Turkey!!! Can you imagine. It reminds me of my house at times, I leave for a few days and often come back to a Coup-----until I can restore order. It usually starts with the low level lieutenants---a 10,8 and 5 year old insisting on ice cream for dinner and no bed time.
It's my anniversary and I told my wife it's going to be our best night ever.. Well It's 9:50 and she is in bed asleep with the 5 and 8 year old after reading bed time storoes and I am watching ESPN with the 10 year old on the porch. In a weird kind of way it is the perfect night.... she's in bed early and I have a little father son time with my boy just watching TV and listening to the crickets. How exciting is that for an anniversary night!!
Happy Anniversary BD and Chief, it is exactly the way it should be. Your little guys will be on their own one day but you will have each other forever. Blessings to you and your family.
