I love the ocean but it sure is a little worrisome when kids are loosing arms in waist deep water right off the shore. There was an attack when my wife and I went to Hilton Head this past week for a 3 day getaway without the kids. 6 shark attacks in the past 2 week. I never used to worry about surfing and still surf every chance I get but for the first time it entered my mind this summer.
Sure is true. We've had the same thing. Even sightings of great whites. But the really scary thing here is rip tides. I've learned how to see one, but I hope I never have to put into practice how I've learned to relax and not fight it, just go with it until you get to a point where you can swim sideways out of it. I know I'd panic. Going in the ocean these days is like playing Russian Roulette. I just wonder what is bringing the Sharks so close to shore, and why there's so many sightings.
Hey BD You're sitting at a bar one night and this beautiful woman sits next to you. You buy her a drink because you're a gentleman. You guys start talking about common interests and the flirting starts. More drinks and she says, Hey Big a boy, you want to come up to my room? That's when you get a good look and realize it's K. Jennings. Now that's scary!! LMAO
