Has anyone taken Ambien to sleep in desperate times. I never take medication, but the T is really getting to me. Seems to be getting louder. Just developed a low frequency T several days ago. Oh joy. The reason I ask is because I know it can be potentially ototoxic. But I need some relief.

    Hi Megan,

I have never taken ambien to sleep. Melatonin might be worth a try.

Hi Megan. Yes i have taken Ambien a number of times and found it great! I would get a full nights sleep and wake up well rested and not groggy at all. I cannot get it where i live now unfortunately but when in NY i used it quite regularly.

Thank you! I took 3 mg of melatonin and slept like a baby. I've taken Ambien in the past and liked it a little too much, became dependent on it and the withdraw symptoms were pretty bad. Bad anxiety, shaking etc...

Awesome. Glad it was effective. And definitely safer than ambien.
