Hello Friends, I was hoping to come back and thank you all for all the advice and help. I did, in fact, have a whole month vertigo free. Then a week ago when I was beginning to regain strength and optimism - I suddenly developed a detached retina. This required laser surgery and a whole bunch of icky things I wont go into. In short, the eye specialist inserts a gas bubble in the eye which helps to reseal the retina. So I was walking around with a gas bubble- in my left ear - with barely any eyesight or hearing in that ear. And out of the blue, had a nasty vertigo attack a good few blocks from home. Scary especially because I was on a busy street with nausea (so no sitting inside a shop) and 2 dogs. Fortunately my wonderful husband came and took me home. Since then I feel like the tinnitus has returned. It is so loud I feel like I have lost two faculties. The (rushed) specialist said something about the vertigo returning because my brain is receiving two different messages with the retina detachment?? I am following your regiment strictly John,, however, I fess up that I hadnt eaten much before the walk in the morning?? and hadnt taken the valocylavyr in the am. I was trying to cut back the mg too, seeing I was vertigo free for 5 weeks. Would that make a difference? Any suggestions to hush my tinnitus besides John's Regimen. Very little salt intake? Thank you. Thank you - Peace & Healing To Us All!
