LOL! I dress up and lounge on the porch with a bucket of candy. Like I'm not real, ya know? The bucket says Take One. Then I jump up and scare the shit out of the kids! Not the little ones, of course. I give the little one big candy bars.
I plan on being a redneck woman and giving everyone around hell while carrying my grandson on my hip... oh wait I do that anyway... well back to the costume closet.
Told hubby NOT to walk the dog in the woods but did he listen? NO! They come home, we do dinner, we watch tv, and I brought her to my room. I started rubbing her and what do you think I find?, That's right, another damn tick! I'm flipping out, he's like what do we do?? &$;$/&;@(;@ Daughter and I remove tick and put it in a bad with alcohol which kills it. Got it all out. Cleaned the area with alcohol and dropped a wad of Neosporin (like Vaseline.) Tomorrow she will go to the vet.,they will do blood tests and test tick. Maybe spending the money will teach him a lesson! Can you tell how freakin pissed off I am now????
I AM COLD!! I am so cold I want to cry... its not really even cold in my house. But after last winter with not furnace I am so cold sensitive that the minute I feel cold I want to crumble and cry in a blanket screaming "No more wire hangers" okay well maybe not those words but I feel so ashamed because I have always loved winter and snow. I am a traitor!!!!
Not a traitor! I told hubs it was getting cold out and he says no heat until Nov 15th??? Yeah, we will just see about that! Karen, we invested in one of those gas fake fireplaces for the family room in the basement. Well worth the money! That things sends heat upstairs, too! It looks just like real flames. Then they have the electric ones that look just like a small fireplace. My daughter has one in her room because she's on the basement level with 5 windows in her room. She's always cold. Well she was. Now she's a happy camper!
I really, really love my dog. I've had other dogs, other pets but there's something so sweet and special about her.
SOrry about the tick... that stinks. I had one take a piece of my ear off. Is doggie okay? We have a few of those infared heaters. I love them!! Our house isn't really cold like last year.
Vet says she's ok, I did a good job removing it. Doing blood work and has her on antibiotics. I love paying someone to tell ME I did a good job...shouldn't it be the other way around??
