Has anyone been found to have this? My most recent MRI shows a borderline chiari that is stable since last MRI. Weird thing is, I've had at least 4 brain MRI's and this is the first one to even mention it. I'm not sure if they aren't mentioning it because it's so insignificant or because the previous docs who read it didn't even notice it. I have vestibular migraine but also in the last 3-4 years have had a tremendous problem with dysphagia (big problem in initiating the swallow). The swallow study showed it was of a neuro-muscular origin but beyond that couldn't find a reason. All the doctors I've seen regarding this have just shrugged their shoulders and I'm trying to live with it as best as I can. Now of course, I'm wondering if there is a connection between the dysphagia and chiari and possibly the dizziness/vertigo. In my talks with "Dr Google" over the last few years I've often seen Chiari malformation come up as a reason for both dysphagia and dizziness as well as other symptoms I have but I said that can't be it because it didn't show on my MRI and no doctor ever mentioned it. Now I'm wondering if this could be the cause of my problems.
