I use the Furminater and yes I do it myself bi-weekly during shedding season.
2 huskies-a ton of hair.
Huskies rarely need a bath. Sometimes once a year. They don't give off that doggie smell.
But they play in a baby pool with water and love us using the hose on them in the summer.

I also cut the cats nails and always come away with gouges despite papoosing them. Saving big bucks doing that.

 

That's a great doggy mom! You wouldn't believe how many dogs that come in, mainly little ones, that are so matted that the hair literally shaves off in one piece. I've found all sorts of stuff stuck in dogs hair. Twigs, leaves, bugs, and the absolute worst was maggots. I had to send it home and told them to take it to the vet. I refused to do it and told them if they didn't take it to the vet it would get very sick but that we don't deal with that at the shop, only at the vet. Makes me gag to even think about it.

 

Do you cook on the grill a lot?

 

not really. Only if we go to my inlaws or my parents.

All the time. All year round.

Do you bring so,etching when you go to someone's house for dinner?

 

We only ever go to the in laws and my parents house. Yes, I'll bring something to my moms usually but my mil never wants me to. I always ask. She'lits a pita sometimes but is super nice too. She always makes separate little dishes without salt and buys low sodium stuff when I come over. I offer to bring my own but she keeps it there for when I'm over.

Do you eat low sodium, water pill, no caffeine, etc.....?

Do you care what others think of how you dress or look?

 

Not really. I'm a pretty casual dresser. I have nice jeans and nice shirts for going out and work jeans and old tshirts for work. You'll sometimes find me in men's boxer shorts and a tshirt if I'm home lounging for the day.

Do you believe in ghosts?

 

I most certainly do.
I have many beliefs in many things.

Do you pray while falling asleep?

 

Sometimes. That's a whole other subject.

Do you feel closer to one child than another? I don't mean do you love one more but do you have a closer bond with one over another?

Do you sometimes want to smack the shit out of one of your kids? Boy did I come close yesterday.

 

Um, I actually did the other day. it was just a knee jerk reaction to her smart ass mouth telling me to f/o. She slapped me back across the face. Nothing seems to work with her.

Do you think you could take her down in a brawl?

It depends on the day. She plays pretty dirty. She most likely won't run from me but wait until I get close enough to hit again or she has grabbed me and clawed the crap out of my arm before. Then there was the time she kicked me in the face and once so hard on the arm that I thought she broke it. She'll pinch me and twist. If I go to pop her on the butt or discipline her she says I'm abusing her. This long term residential psych treatment facility she's on the waiting list can't call soon enough. So basically, yes I can take her but I will end up hurt as well.

Probably can think of one thing that if I had done differently would have majorly changed part of my life.
