Doctor recommendation in Albuquerque?

Hello,

My ENT in Albuquerque, Dr. Schmedes, recently diagnosed me with endolymphatic hydrops, possibly Ménière’s. He’s had me start on low sodium, which has helped some, and said we will add a diuretic next. My issue with him is that it is VERY hard to get him to return calls, and he’s at National Sinus Institute and not an ear specialist. We seem to have a real shortage of ENTs here at the moment. UNM can’t see me until March. It looks to me like there’s only one neurotologist in town, and he only sees people for surgery.

Does anyone in NM have a doctor they can recommend who is very knowledgeable and up to date about the inner ear and Ménière’s? Thanks for any suggestions.
