I have tinnitus in both ears 24/7 & thought after years of this I had heard every sound or noise possible. I have had exploding head syndrome hearing what sounds like a gunshot in my head. That was very frightening until I found out what it was. This a.m. I had just woke up when I heard what sounded like a telephone ringing in one ear. It was so loud/deafening it hurt my ear. It rang 3 or 4 times & stopped. It was so real I asked my DH if he heard it & he did not. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks.
Many strange noise over the last couple of years. Some painful, most just very annoying. Weirdest was a helicopter in my middle ear.
