ear pain

    I have bilateral MM & have lost most of my hearing in one ear. Lately I've been having pain in the ear I use for my phone calls. It is a pain when I burp or sometimes when I swallow. I don't remember having it before or at least it lasting this long. Anyone know what could be causing this. I can't take antibiotics or antihistamines so I'm hesitating going to a doctor because that's what they usually do is prescribe something I can't take. Thanks for any help
