I am in Florida, and of course it's pretty warm down here sometimes. Lately I have been experiencing "off days" and yesterday a very dizzy time, had to go to bed. It "feels" like there is some connection with the heat and sweat but I just can't quite figure out whether I need to consume more electrolytes like salt and potassium, or less, or more pure water or less. I generally add a packet of Propel to a large thermos of water. Each packet has 210mg of Sodium and 70mg of Potassium. I was looking at other products for sports hydration and they seemed to have more so today I put in two packets and no ice. I find I drink more when its not too cold. I still feel "off" today but nowhere near as bad as yesterday. Do any others here with Meniere's find a connection to electrolytes? I wonder if we happen to be deficient in some mineral or our bodies can't regulate it properly? Do I need more salt and other minerals? So hard to know, so little help from the medical community. Great help here though from our peers.
Laird Super Food HYDRATE mango coconut. You can find it online. I use it in the summer when I'm fishing the river. Here at the base of the Sierra Nevada range, it's a very dry heat in Summer. Not much sweating. I think Amazon has it as well. Good luck!
