Do you avoid elevators or how do you handle it? If I feel like I'm still moving after they stop I'm sick for days after. The thing is, if this happens going up, you've still got to come back down. There's no way I can go up & down 8 or 9 flights of stairs to avoid the elevator. This M's just gets better & better. thanks.

    Hi verti,

That sucks. It has never been a problem for me thank God cause I live in a high rise. Must set something off in your inner ear. Are you claustrophobic at all? Maybe the motion and the boxed in feeling potentiate each other.

If this is ongoing, start walking up the stairs unless you are totally unable. I find that pushing myself with exercise and cardio has helped me rebound faster from the down times.

Thanks for your reply. I am not completely disabled but I couldn't make it up & down 8 flights of stairs in a hospital. Riding in a car can also triggers the same feeling. I'm not claustrophobic but being bilateral probably makes it much worse.
