    Hello everyone! New here!

My MD story starts in Summer of 2020, about 3 months after the birth of my daughter I had fullness, ringing, and occasional hearing loss in my right ear. I figured it was some kind of weird postpartum symptom, but it continued to persist so I went to see an ENT. I was diagnosed with "textbook Meniere's" as evidenced by the frequency of my hearing loss. It remained pretty mild until a few months ago when I started having the full blown vertigo attacks with uncontrollable vomiting, sometimes lasting 12 hours or more.

So far, I have been using chiropractic and targeted red light therapy and have been reading through tons of threads on here. I plan to start the JOH protocol and also implement B5, B6 and I am already taking Magnesium and Vitamin D regularly.

I am still breastfeeding my daughter who is now 20 months, so I am limited in certain things I can take right now. I am digging into the JOH protocol to determine safety with breastfeeding (and pregnancy). John, if you have any insight that would be AMAZING.

I would love to hear other women's experiences with pregnancy and MD. My husband and I desperately want to grow our family. I have read on a simple Google search that MD is not dangerous for the baby, but could cause a very scary pregnancy if/when vertigo attacks persist while pregnant. I would love to hear it all-good/bad, what worked for you during pregnancy, you experience postpartum, etc.

There are times when this feels so isolating and times when I can't imagine my quality of life looking into the future (I am only 30), but I truly can't imagine not having anymore children. I thank you all for sharing your stories and trials and mostly for your support in this isolating disease.❤️ ~Sydney

In regard to the things in my Meniere's treatment regimen (all over the counter substances) I've never encountered any information that would indicate any harm in use during pregnancy, at the doses indicated in the regimen.

I’m also curious to hear about others’ experiences - good, bad, or in between. My husband and I have two young children and have contemplated a third, but then my Meniere’s symptoms started and I’m in the process of being diagnosed. We decided we would give it some time to figure out what was going on with me and make sure we rule out anything more serious, but now I’m wondering if we should go ahead and decide our family is complete or not. It’s one of those things where if it’s going to make things super complicated and risky, we’ll probably stop since we have been blessed with two wonderful children. But if it’s just a matter of taking some time to get things under control, and then it would be fine, I don’t want to look back later and regret not going for it. It seems like every decision related this disease involves some degree of risk and uncertainty. I’m 34 and my husband is 37, so we’re willing to give a little time for symptom control, but we don’t want to wait too much longer or we’ll probably just decide we’re too old for another baby anyway.
