As Gracie said in another thread, "can you be nice?"

 

as I read through these threads I've noticed quite a few things
I see people just having a good time
then I see where others pop in with what appears to be sarcasm
it's unsettling

if you can't be nice you should be starting you own threads for you and your friends and stop intimidating everyone else.
This behavior is why I haven't posted frequently

 

I'm sorry you feel that way. We've messaged about this situation before.
The digs aren't directed at you and it's a shame it occurs.
Don't stop posting, just quote a post you like and reply.

I thought for a long time before replying to this post , Ruby.

It seems to me that you only are posting on the board when there is perceived controversy. Most of the time it is like BumbleBea says, just good fun. You would have to read every post in every thread to know what is really happening . Most of us don't have time for that.

On an Internet forum there are many personalities, often ones that don't gel. There will be controversy and unpleasantness. There will be misunderstandings. There will be sock puppets. It's the nature of the beast.

It's kind of sad that this stuff happens on a forum that is intended for support for people who have a rather miserable condition to deal with, but for the most part the people who post here care about eavh other and are not here to cause harm. The ones who are are easily ignorable.

Give the place a chance.

I'd like your definition of a sock puppet. I don't see that happening here.

Your post is more controversial and disturbing because you are responding to a newbie who for whatever reasons feels intimidated by the conflicts. Starting with an accusation that a person only posts during controversy.

Funny, how even newbies pick up on the nuances.
I've read through your posts, I don't see where anyone has been hassling you so I don't get the sour grapes.

Funny too that it's like a schoolyard game where each team picks players.
For instance, I see you've reached out to Ashley several times. I don't see you reaching out to other newbies such as Ruby.

It may be fun and games but you're playing a confusing game. You can't MAKE people like you, especially when the tone of your posts runs hot one day and cold the next. Maybe that's why you felt you no longer belonged here...but you're back. One would think you had a change of heart and decided to try to fit in. If that's the case, you're going about it all wrong.

No offense intended. Just my point of view.
