After my Mylan and Teva valacyclovir didn't appear to have any effect, I tried to locate a pharmacy that carried the manufacturer Northstar, but had no luck, other than a Costco which did not accept my insurance. Discouraged I returned to the high dose vitamin C, which had eliminated all my symptoms for a time, until it seemed to not fully do the job anymore.
At last I found a local pharmacy that was willing to order me Northstar. For anybody else looking, if the pharmacy uses the wholesaler "McKessen", then they are able to order it. Today is day one.
I'm hoping for the best. My symptoms I should add, which I attribute to JOH regiment, and lifestyle changes are somewhat mild in comparison to what they once were and what many others face. Vertigo is rare for me, and fullness less common, my main symptoms are the constant ringing, and what seems like inflammation of my inner ear where all sounds are amplified x10, as if I'm hearing through a tunnel, and my ears become very sensitive to noise, add to that some low frequency hearing loss.
